Abstract
Experimental Studies of Complex Human behavior lab at Oslo and Akershus University College has been running for several years and students of both master and doctor level carry out experiments on topics related complex human behavior such as language, symbolic function, and remembering. The main focus has been research within experimental behavior analysis and translational research, as, for example, understanding problem solving behavior by the use of talk aloud procedures during conditional discrimination tasks, studying variables affecting discrimination behavior in elderly and dementia patients, and study variables affecting establishment of stimulus control during conditional discrimination tasks and likelihood of responding in accordance with additional emergent relations. The present poster provides an overview of the studies that the members of the lab are working on under the supervision of Professor Erik Arntzen along with providing contact information if readers are interested to learn more or wish for collaboration with the lab.
