Abstract
The occurrence of mole cancer is 1700–1800 cases per year, and the challenges are highest when the malignant melanoma is discovered too late. Each year 325 cases discover the malignant melanoma too late and die from it. If the death rate is to be reduced, it will be essential to establish discrimination skills so that malignant melanomas are detected and treated early. This study investigates whether conditional discrimination procedures can be used to establish discrimination between malignant and benign melanoma. The application of the results will be discussed.
