Abstract
The current poster provides an overview of investigations conducted at the Experimental Studies of Complex Human Behavior Laboratory in 2017 and up to date. The experiments were performed by students at bachelor, masters, and Ph.D. levels, along with faculty members of the Department of Behavioral Science of the Oslo Metropolitan University. They focused on variables affecting stimulus control, particularly on emergent relational responding, in normal adults and dementia patients. The manipulated variables include training structures, time intervals in delayed matching-to-sample tasks, limit hold contingencies, compound and meaningful stimulus. Their effects on generalization, transfer of function, sorting tasks, and brain activity are also taken into account. The experiments range from experimental analysis of behavior to translational research. Contact information for those interested to participate or collaborate with the lab will be provided.
